The staple of all Gujaratis.
On a hot summers day, a light cooling meal that isn't heavy but is still flavourful.
And since we are meat eaters, we have to have a chicken curry alongside.
But seriously, to me, it's a bit like a detox meal.
It's basically rice, a sort of yoghurt based soup and then you have a vegetable curry and chicken curry on the side.
That's your full meal.
And actually it's really easy to make, doesn't take very long and I think the simplicity makes it perfect.
