Unicorn Hot Chocolate
Unicorn Hot chocolate is all the craze right now! and why wouldn't it be?
Creamy chocolatey goodness covered with whipped cream and lots of sprinkles and glitter...magical!
This was definitely one that was popular with the little ones and you can get them involved by letting them go wild with the decorations!
My only piece of advice is to be prepared to clean up all those sprinkles because they do tend to make a mess!
One more word of warning, for this recipe I used the Silver Spoon food colourings because they are slightly sweeter. We did try using just general Tesco food colouring but we found there was a bitter taste so keep an eye on that.
Besides that go crazy with the decorating and taste the unicorn!
480 ml milk
240 ml double cream
1tsp vanilla extract
130g white chocolate (I used chocolate chips)
blue food colouring
red food colouring
and everything pink and magical you can get your hands on!
1. Stir together the milk, double cream, vanilla extract and chocolate until melted.
2. mix together the blue and red food colouring until you make purple and add it slowly to the hot chocolate mixture till you are happy with the colour, you're looking
3. To serve, pour your hot chocolate into mugs and top with whipped cream, marshmallows and lots and lots of sprinkles!!
