Travel Diaries: Agadir - The Hotel
I love travelling. Visiting new countries, new cities and learning about different cultures excites me.
Because of my heritage, I had visited India many times but I hadn't seen any more of the world.
So when my dad suggested a family holiday to Morocco I agreed straight away.
There are 7 of us all together with the youngest being only 1 years old, so it was important we found a holiday that was going to suit everyone.
We found an all inclusive holiday to Agadir for about £300 per person for 7days. Agadir is a beach town with lots of resorts so relaxing was going to be the main theme.
The hotel we stayed at was called Les Dunes d'Or and as part of our stay, breakfast lunch and dinner was included. The rooms were clean and well furnished and honestly, we had no complaints.
Our hotel opened up onto the beach with a promenade lined with restaurants and stalls selling their wares.
We also got some beautiful black mendhi done on the promenade.
We also got to witness a culture show at our hotel which consisted of acrobats, a spinning man, belly dancers and snake charmers.
Since our hotel was all inclusive, we had a chance to try a whole range of different foods with no extra cost.
Moroccan Harira Soup with root vegetables; a firm favourite for me in the heat, and with the freshly baked baguettes? Delicious!
A wide range of French desserts and pastries including this indulgent chocolate mousse.
Moroccan vegetable tagine and seafood paella
And so much more to choose from at every meal!
